Samsung m31 buy or not

"Music" Hey guys it’s Rohit from techmrohit, and inthis video we unbox and take our 1st look at the new Samsung Galaxy M31. Without wasting any time, let's get to theunboxing. Here is the box that the Galaxy M31 comesin. It is available in 2 colour options, SpaceBlack and Ocean Blue. I went with the blue coloured one, as I thinkit would show less fingerprints on its back. Quickly breaking open the seal, and openingthe box, we have this envelope hidden inside the lid. It is carrying the SIM Tray removal pin onthe outside. And inside it, we have have some paperworklike warranty and regulatory information and a users guide. Samsung did not include a case in box, tohelp you protect your phone. Which is a bit surprising, since it is veryrare these days, specially for these budget smartphones. Next up, we have the phone itself, wrappedin plastic. I am going to keep it aside for now and takea look at other things in the box. We have a 15 watt charger, and a usb typeA to type C cable to charge the phone. Alright let me keep all these things aside, and we will get back to the phone. Peeling all the plastic and this sticker atthe back, I like how this colour looks. Now this is plastic back, and not glass, butit is pretty shiny. I really wish Samsung gave a case in the box, because, this is going to collect a lot of fingerprints and even scratches, Just by puttingit on and taking off a table, or even sliding in and out of your pocket. So get a case for it, if you plan on gettingthe M31. This phone has a massive 6000mAh battery inside, but it docent feel too heavy or massive in my hands. So thumbs up to Samsung for keeping that weightdown. Taking a look around the phone. At the bottom, We have a 3.5mm headphone jack,USB Type C port for charging and data transfer, a Microphone, and a speaker grill. On the right we have a Power button and volumeup and down buttons above it. At the top there is just a noise cancellingmicrophone. And on the left side, we get the SIM tray. On this SIM Tray, you can use 2 nano sim cardsAND a microSD card together. You won’t have to choose between havinga second number or expanding your storage, you can have both. At the back we have a physical fingerprintsensor. Now some of you don’t like it, and say thephone doesn’t feel new if it doesn’t have an in display fingerprint sensor. But I prefer having a physical fingerprintsensor, because these are usually much faster and accurate than the in display ones. There are 4 cameras at the back. Primary one gets a 64 megapixel sensor withF/1.8 aperture. Next one gets an 8 megapixel sensor with F/2.2aperture, and 123 degree field of view. Then there is another 5 Megapixel sensor withF/2.4 aperture, and this one is couples with a macro lens. And finally there is another 5 megapixel sensorwith F/2.2 aperture, and this one is only used for sensing depth information for portraitshots. Moving to the front, we have a 6.4 inch SuperAMOLED screen with an Infinity U cutout for the 32 megapixel front facing camera. I don’t mind having these small notch abovemy device. Its not too intrusive, while doing anythingor even watching videos. The display is protected by Corning’s GorillaGlass 3. This M31 is running Samsung’s OneUI version2 on top of Android 10. I didn’t mind using Samsung’s OneUI onmy Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus last year, In fact, I enjoyed using it. So I might like the 2nd iteration of theirsoftware, which I hope must have got even better. As I am setting up this phone for the firsttime, everything feels pretty fast and snappy. There are some preinstalled app that I seehere, but the bloatware on this phone is nowhere as bad as the bloatware that we get on Redmior POCO phones. Inside, this Galaxy M31 is powered by Samsung’sin house Exynos 9611 processor (which if I am not wrong is the same one as the M30s camewith), coupled with Mali G72MP3 GPU. There is 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM for both the 64and 128GB Storage variants. And as I mentioned earlier, it packs in amassive 6000mAh battery inside. Which I am sure will last any one of you,for well over a day and half. And when its time to charge it up, you canplug it into the 15 watt charger that comes with it. It would have been nice to see an 18 wattor better yet, a 27 watt faster charger to charge this massive battery. You get all of the necessary sensors packedin here. There is support for dual Volte, and one ofthe most requested feature in recent times, WiFi Calling is also present. Camera2api is also enables, so you can tryand install Gcam mods if you wish. And You even get Widewine L1 supprt, so youcan watch all your favourite shows on Amazon Prime and Netflix in high definition. In terms of overall feel of the device, Ithink it fits very well in my hands, and despite of having a huge battery, doesn’t feel toobulky or heavy. I like that there is a physical fingerprintsensor, to quickly unlock the phone. And the bright SuperAMOLED screen is amazingfor playing games and watching movies. I will have to test the cameras and its overallperformance, in the next few days. And I will have more to say about it in myfull review.
